Taxpayers must provide information to support their claim.

Examples:

• Alternate appraisal by certified appraiser
• Pictures of problems relative to property
• Pictures of comparable properties as listed on application

After an informal review with the Office of the Assessor, taxpayers may make an appointment with the Harrison County Commission as soon after January 31, 2024 as possible. The County Commission, sitting as Board of Equalization and Review, will adjourn February 26, 2024. All appointments must be made prior to that date or taxpayers lose their right to appeal their 2024 tax assesment after that date.
