About the Department
Our Mission & Purpose
Welcome to the Harrison County Planning Department — the primary source of information on land use planning in Harrison County. We provide information on land use planning initiatives, regulations, application forms, and fee schedules.
Harrison County has remained one of the fastest growing regions in West Virginia over the past two decades. Our department works with the County Planning Commission and Planning District Advisory Committees to establish a comprehensive, coordinated framework for planning that balances growth with preservation of our community's character.
