Our Response
We will acknowledge your request within two business days. Most accessible-format requests are fulfilled within ten business days; if more time is needed, we will tell you when to expect it. An accessibility barrier will never prevent you from receiving county information or services. We will work with you to find another way.
Conformance Status
This website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conforms" means some content does not yet fully meet the standard. Our web pages are tested every week, and accessibility issues we find are prioritized for correction. Some documents and forms do not yet fully conform, as described below.
Known Limitations
- PDF documents: Some agendas, minutes, reports, and other PDFs may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We are reviewing and remediating these documents and building new ones to accessible standards.
- Fillable forms: We are rebuilding county PDF forms so they are fully accessible. Until a form is rebuilt, we can help you complete it by phone or provide it in another format.
- Archived documents: Agendas and minutes from 2014–2025 are kept in our Archive for reference only and are not updated. Contact us and we will provide an accessible version of any archived document on request.
Third-Party Content
Parts of this site link to or embed services operated by other organizations, including GIS maps, Land Records Search, online property tax payment, online permit applications, online forms, the website chat assistant, Zoom meeting links, survey tools, and social media. We choose vendors with accessibility in mind and report problems to them, but we do not control their content. If a third-party service is not accessible to you, contact us and we will help you get the information or complete the transaction another way.
How We Test
We review this website using a combination of methods:
- Automated accessibility scans, run weekly
- Manual keyboard-only navigation testing
- Screen reader testing
- Accessibility checks on PDF documents before and after remediation
We do not rely on accessibility overlay tools. Accessibility is built into the site's code and content.
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter a barrier, have a suggestion, or would like to report a problem, contact the appropriate ADA Coordinator listed above.
Formal Complaints
If you believe you have been denied access to county information, programs, or services because of a disability, you may contact either ADA Coordinator listed above. You may also file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, at civilrights.justice.gov (opens in new tab).
